Purchasing Tickets
Tickets can be purchased in advance, on-line. The depot and ticket office opens approximately one hour prior to departure. All tickets are sold on a first come first served basis. Our passenger coach holds 60 passengers. If all seats sell out and there are enough passengers still wishing to ride the train, extra departures will be added. We can accept credit/debit cards for on-line ticket sales however we are only able to accept cash and checks in the depot the day of the ride. Our train is neither heated nor air conditioned, we suggest you dress for the weather on the day of your visit.
Locomotive Rides
Ride up in the Locomotive with the engineer and see how the train is operated. Tickets for the Locomotive are $25 each for regular departures.
Due to space restrictions only two passengers can ride in the locomotive.
Tickets for the Locomotive tend to sell out early. Consider buying locomotive tickets in advance on-line
Special Needs
While we do our best to accommodate all of our guests, we are unable to accommodate persons in wheel chairs or those very limited mobility. If you have any questions about the accessibility of our facilities please call the depot at (816) 331-0630 or email us info@beltonrailroad.org
